Positives and Negatives about Pediatricians
There are many positive and negative aspects to being a pediatrician.
Positives
-You get to take care of children and keep them healthy.

-They always help children no matter where they are.

-It is very tiring dealing with the insurance companies and regulations.
-Work places a restraint on family life.
-There is a huge deal of insurance and government regulations and involvement.
-There is a huge responsibility that comes with being a pediatrician.
-Pediatricians don't make as much as other specialty doctors.
-There is a long training requirement. (14 years!)
-Most pediatricians work long hours. Sometimes they work at night.
